Knowing the truth will help you survive

I loved Mark Rich's first book, "The Hidden Evil", and this one is even better. The world is not as safe as it seems, and although technology makes our lives so easy, with instant communication world wide, it has an equal and opposite evil side. This book is an excellent introduction to the truth about how advanced technology is being used to experiment upon and control innocent non-consenting individuals.

In cities, in towns, in rural areas and in urban areas across America and indeed much of Europe, and in all NATO countries, military and intelligence agencies are running a horrific covert operation to muffle and stifle the voices of activists, writers, bloggers, and community activists and leaders, by irradiating them with potent remote-control radiation neuroweaponry, euphemistically termed non-lethal weapons, and secretly rolling them into nonconsensual weapons testing human experimentation programs. In collusion, Intel agencies "open investigations" of a bogus nature on these individuals, seeking to deny, dismiss, and discredit their accounts and testimony, while psychiatrists in the employ of Defense and the corporate Mafia often referred to as the Financial Elite, oblige by falsely labeling all witnesses paranoid schizophrenic and unstable. The military also runs excessive PsyOps on these people now falsely labelled "extremists' "dissenters" and "domestic terrorists" and, under the aegis of the Patriot Act and other rollbacks of civil liberties, subjects them to incessant surveillance, organized stalking, noise harassment, and other forms of covert abuse. A huge number of Citizen Stasi are involved. Universities running covert research programs for Defense in areas of neuroscience, behavioral science, artificial intelligence, and psychiatry are involved. This is happening to average everyday citizens in the US and elsewhere, it is happening to journalists, bloggers, writers, and anyone who speaks out in conscience or offers an ethical take on any issue, anyone who contacts members of Congress, anyone who seeks to influence lawmakers. Yet, today, in mid-2014, it is still not reported, not acknowledged, and not condemned by the human rights, investigative journalist, and legal bodies of the US and the world--it has clearly still not been fully exposed. But Mark Rich offers a detailed study of how these programs have been set up, how the military--through its own documentation--supports it, and how psychiatrists and medical personnel have been co-opted. A vital, necessary, and extremely significant work, whose importance will become increasingly apparent as more of the Snowden revelations are published. Kudos to Mark Rich. A must-read for anyone seeking to understand what the excesses of the tyranny practiced by a surveillance state have brought us to. Not Quite What I Was Looking For

David Bowie is a brilliant genius with brilliant music, but this book does not quite follow in his footsteps. While it includes many good songs, the singles included just are not his best songs. But that's not my real complaint. My real complaint is that it is only notated and not in tablature. Many people have trouble reading a book that has no tablature, and ( i can read music, but tab much faster) many are delayed by having to turn one into the other. Also the piano, guitar 1, guitar 2, etc. parts are not well enough defined. I wish that they would make an effort a more extensive collection of this legend, but also that they would please do a tablature version. I know i would certainly buy it, being a collector and all. I'm not saying don't buy it, just beware before you do that it's not in tablature.

Extremely useful!

This book is a great for anyone who wants the foundations to work with differential forms. Probably it would be very useful for graduate students or even undergraduate students who ware taking classes in differential geometry or differential topology as an **additional** reference. In particular, I'm using it to study exterior differential systems and PDE systems. Check to see if your library has the hard-copy or the electronic version because the only minus is that it's price is too expensive (very common with titles published by World Scientific). In part I guess its size and quality justifies part of the price. I love that it has lots of examples and the author does not shy away of doing calculations. Too often in math textbooks all the grinding work is left as exercises but here this is not the case. Also the book has a good selection of problems. Best book on differential forms I ever read. Also the language is more accessible to scientists from other fields than mathematics; there is no category theory jargon muddling the text. It beats Darling's book ( Differential Forms Connections R Darling fair and square.

Clean modern presentation.

This is a grad level text. It's written in a more informal manner than the usual pure math text -- i.e., the usual unmotivated staccato style of definition-lemma-theorem-corollary is absent and the author tries to explain the meaning of the ideas, interspersed with calculations from time to time.But it is still an intimidating text that covers quite a bit of terrain and would probably be suitable only for grad level students. I see it as a more discursive and motivated reincarnation of Bishop and Goldberg's terse "Tensor Analysis on Manifolds."

Suhubi covers -- among other topics -- forms, integration of forms, connections, elementary Lie theory, variational calculus, and de Rham cohomology. He doesn't cover spectral sequences or characteristic classes (for the former, try chapter 3 of Bott and Tu's "Differential Forms in Algebraic Topology," and for the latter, either chapter 4 of Bott and Tu or the second half of Morita's "Geometry of Differential Forms.")

Suhubi writes carefully, with close attention to detail. But one should be primed for this text by having read, say, Janich's "Vector Analysis" as an undergrad, or the even more basic book, Garrity's "Electricity and Magnetism for Mathematicians."

I know all the books written about differentiable forms and this one is the best one i have ever seen...I can not even compare this excellent book with the others...If you want to learn differentiable forms then you need this extraordinary book...You can find everything in this book in detail...Everthing is explained clearly...and you can find many good examples solved in detail..I am sure if you buy this book you will find that this book is much more better than your expectations..While reading the book you can see the authors great mastery and inteligence in each line..I am strongly recomended this book for everybody who wants to learn differential forms and to gain an experince to apply differential forms to physics and many other engineering problems. I want to thank the great Professor Erdogan Suhubi for this excellent book...
